How do I get started?

Start with the free Lookout plan. Tell us your name, company, work email and Amazon store, and we read your public Amazon figures for you. Nothing is needed from Seller Central, and your first weekly check arrives within seven days.

When you want your account's own figures and same-morning alerts, choose the Watch plan, or the Fix plan if you'd like our team to do the fixing. You pay by card at checkout, and within one working day we email you the next step: approving a read-only connection from inside your own Seller Central.

No passwords change hands at any point.

How do I sign in?

There's no password to remember. On the sign-in page, enter your work email and we email you a six-character code and a one-click link. Both work for 15 minutes. Once you're in, you stay signed in on that browser for 7 days.

  • No email? Check your spam folder, give it a minute, then ask for another code.
  • Code ended, or too many tries? Ask for another code.
  • Selling on Amazon yourself? Logins are for partners for now. Seller logins open as each account is connected; until then, your checks and alerts come by email.
  • Signing out: choose Sign out at the top of your dashboard.

What can you see in my account, and who else sees it?

  • Free plan: only what Amazon shows publicly. We need nothing from your Seller Central.
  • Watch plan: you approve a read-only connection from inside your own Seller Central. We read figures such as account health, order defect rate, late shipments, valid tracking, listing status and inventory status.
  • Fix and Grow plans: our specialists also work in your account as a service provider, with only the permissions you grant.

We never ask for your Seller Central password, and you can switch off the connection or remove our access at any time. On the partner dashboard, client figures are confidential to the partner and the client, and we only contact a partner's clients with their say-so.

We don't sell personal information. Card details go straight to Revolut, our payment provider, and never reach our servers. If you leave, we delete or anonymise your Amazon account data within 90 days, unless we need to keep a record for legal reasons.

Alerts and figures

4 answers

What do the alerts tell me, and when?

On the Watch plan, when something moves you get an email the same morning: what changed, why it matters and what to do. On the Fix plan, we do it for you. The free plan sends a weekly email when something moves.

What we watch:

  • Your account health rating, and any warning or policy flag from Amazon
  • Order defect rate, late shipments and valid tracking
  • Dangerous goods reviews on your FBA products
  • Suppressed listings that have dropped out of search or off sale
  • Seller feedback over 30 days, 90 days and 12 months
  • Your listings in public: another seller on your own brand's listing (often a hijacker), main image changes and stock gone from sale

Figures come from Amazon and can sometimes be late. If a problem affects your alerts, we tell you.

Amazon's targetsDangerous goods reviewsOur part in the terms

What do the figures mean, and what are Amazon's targets?

Amazon judges a seller account on a few figures, each over its own period. These are the targets the dashboard and your alerts measure against.

FigureWhat it measuresTargetPeriod
Account Health RatingAmazon's score for the account, from 0 to 1,000, based on how it follows Amazon's policies.Healthy at 200 or moreCurrent score
Policy issuesIssues Amazon has raised against the account or its listings, such as product safety or condition complaints.None openCurrent
Order Defect RateOrders with negative feedback, an A-to-z Guarantee claim or a chargeback.Under 1%60 days
Late Dispatch RateSeller-fulfilled orders confirmed as dispatched after the dispatch deadline.Under 4%10 and 30 days
Pre-fulfilment Cancel RateSeller-fulfilled orders the seller cancelled before dispatch.Under 2.5%7 days
Valid Tracking RateSeller-fulfilled shipments with a tracking number Amazon can follow.Over 95%30 days
On-Time Delivery RateSeller-fulfilled units delivered by the date promised to the buyer.Over 90%14 days
Positive seller feedbackThe share of seller ratings that are positive, from Amazon's public data. Amazon sets no target. We flag below 90%30 days, 90 days, 12 months

Seller Fulfilled Prime is judged on four figures over each 7 days. They come from Amazon's Prime dashboard, which isn't part of its account health report.

Prime figureTarget
On-time shipment rate99% or more
Buy Shipping use98% or more
Cancellation rate0.5% or less
One-day delivery promise25% or more

Every figure on the dashboard shows its target and the date it was read.

What do Clear, At risk and Critical mean?

Each client's status is our summary of its worst figure, and the clients that need a look are listed first.

  • CriticalA figure over Amazon's limit, a Seller Fulfilled Prime target missed, or seller feedback under 80% positive.
  • At riskSomething to watch, such as seller feedback under 90% positive.
  • ClearNothing flagged in the figures read.
  • Account Health Rating: 200 or more is Clear, 100 to 199 is At risk, under 100 is Critical.
  • Seller feedback has no Amazon target, so amber there is our own flag. A period needs 5 or more ratings to be coloured, and 20 or more to show as Critical.
  • Not read yet means the figure arrives once the client approves a read-only connection.

What happens if Amazon reviews a product as dangerous goods?

Amazon sometimes believes a product is dangerous goods and asks for a safety data sheet. Often it isn't, but until the paperwork is accepted the product can't be sold through FBA and the stock sits still.

The Watch plan watches your FBA products, your best sellers first by Amazon's own sales rank, so you hear about a review on the day it starts, with what Amazon wants.

On the Fix plan, we run the case with Amazon, including the safety data sheets Amazon asks for, and keep the safety data sheets and exemption sheets for your key products on file, so a resubmission doesn't start from scratch. Amazon makes the final decision, so we can't promise the outcome.

Fix or Fix Plus? How it works

Fix plans and billing

Which do I need: the Fix plan or the Fix Plus plan?

On both, our team works the issues inside your Seller Central with the access you grant. Fix Plus is instead of Fix, so you never pay both.

Fix plan

£395 a month on the Q4 promo, £549 from 1 January, plus VAT
  • For accounts with up to five open issues
  • Monthly, cancel at the end of any month
  • An update each month

Fix Plus plan

£1,500 plus VAT for the first two months, paid up front, then £750 a month
  • For more than five open issues, an account health figure over Amazon's limit (such as order defect rate or late dispatch), or Seller Fulfilled Prime at risk
  • An update each week
  • After two months, if five or fewer issues are open, you move to the Fix plan

Before we start, we look at what's open on your account. If it needs the other plan, we tell you first, and you can move to that plan or cancel.

Included

  • Every open Account Health issue and Amazon notice worked through
  • Appeals and plans of action where there are grounds, listing fixes and the documents Amazon asks for
  • Blocked and suppressed listings worked back on sale
  • Feedback that breaks Amazon's rules sent for removal
  • Shipping templates, shipping settings and Prime settings
  • Watched every working day, with anything that comes up started within one working day

Not included

  • Reinstating a suspended or deactivated account: that's recovery, quoted from £3,000 plus VAT
  • Producing test reports or certificates: they come from you or your manufacturer, and we submit them
  • Work in the warehouse: we tell you what to change
  • Advertising, listing optimisation and growth, which are the Grow plan

Amazon makes the final call, so the fee pays for the work, not a particular result.

How does billing work?

  • You pay by card at checkout on this site, through Revolut, our payment provider; the checkout's "More ways to pay" link opens Revolut's own secure page with other options. Your card details go straight to Revolut and never reach our servers.
  • The Watch and Fix plans are monthly, in advance. The Fix Plus plan's first two months are paid up front, then it's monthly. Recovery is paid as quoted, by a secure Revolut payment link.
  • Payments show on your statement as ECOFORMIX LTD, the company behind Seller Lookout. Revolut emails your receipt, and you get a VAT invoice.
  • Q4 promo prices are held for six months for anyone who joins by 31 December. After that, the standard price for your plan applies.
  • If we change a standard price, we email you at least 30 days before.
  • Partners: one invoice to you, or each client pays us directly. Partner terms, including prices, are agreed on your partner call and confirmed in writing.

How do I cancel?Terms

How do I cancel?

Email [email protected] and tell us which plan and which account. Plans run month to month, so your plan ends at the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund part months.

The one exception is the Fix Plus plan, which has a minimum of two months, paid up front. After that it runs month to month like the others.

You can also switch off the read-only connection, or remove our access, inside your Seller Central at any time. Some features stop working when you do.

How do I read the partner dashboard?

  • The table at the top shows every client against Amazon's targets, as last read, with the clients that need a look first.
  • Select a client to open its account health, laid out the way Amazon shows it.
  • A green tick meets Amazon's target and a red cross misses it. Amber is our own flag on seller feedback.
  • Every figure shows the date it was read, and History plots every read we have.
  • View details opens the rows behind a figure, such as orders, carriers, listings and Amazon's notices. Select the i beside a figure for what it means.
  • When a client needs work, the Fix button asks us to start the Fix plan for them. Nothing starts until the client has agreed, and we confirm with you by email first.

How do I connect a client?

  1. On the client's page in your dashboard, choose Send the link. For a client who isn't on your dashboard yet, use Add a client. Tell us who approves Amazon access at the client.
  2. We email that person a link. They approve a read-only connection from inside their own Seller Central, which takes about two minutes.
  3. The client's account health, customer service and shipping figures then appear on your dashboard.

Until a client connects, we show Amazon's public data, such as seller feedback and best sellers. No passwords change hands, and we only contact your clients with your say-so. Billing for a client starts once it's connected, as agreed on your partner call.

How do I ask you to do something for a client?

Use Ask us in your partner dashboard. Pick what you need, say which client, and add the details: the form tells you what to include. You can ask for things such as:

  • Shipping templates and shipping settings
  • Switching listings from FBA to seller-fulfilled
  • A plan of action to reply to an Amazon case
  • A courier account, or a figure we don't show yet

Your request goes straight to our team, and you get a copy by email. We reply by email, usually the same working day. We only act on changes the account owner has agreed to, and confirm any cost before we start.
